Overview
The DS82 series provides omni-directional presentation scanning for fixed checkout and admissions counter installations. Combining top and bottom scan windows, the DS82 reads 1D and 2D barcodes in any orientation without requiring the user to align the barcode with a scan window -- dramatically improving throughput at busy checkout points, patient registration counters, and pharmacy dispensing stations. The DS82 is available in standard and healthcare (disinfectant-ready) variants.
